Children will learn to safely operate a sewing machine in these fun, project based classes. Beginners with no sewing experience are welcome. Project kits will be provided in each class and there may be an occaissional materials fee. Basic sewing tools and sewing machines are provided. Class projects do not require consecutive attendance. All teens interested in sewing are welcome. Previous sewing experience is not necessary. Teens bring their own projects to work on in a studio environment. Beginners will be taught the basics of sewing machine operation and the first project will be provided. This class is open to all types of sewing including garment making, bags and accessories, home dec projects, restyling, upstyling and alterations. Students must bring their own materials, tools and supplies. Sewing machines are provided. Beginners please contact Capril before your first class. Consecutive Saturdays 2pm to 5pm

You may be called a liar, when you tell folks that you made your own hoodie, but that’s ok. Using McCall’s #4261, Challenge yourself to make a garment that looks store bought. If you have a serger that does a cover stitch than this project can be totally completed on it. If not than you will need to use your regular machine for a few steps. *Note: You MUST bring your own machine to this class.

Wondering what the heck to do with your new Serger? Come learn how to put together quick, simple, EASY wardrobe staples! Using McCall’s #4261 we will completely construct a T-shirt (long sleeve or short) on the serger. *Note: You MUST bring your own machine to this class.
